Between dense foliage, poisonous greens and deep reds, golden layers keep flashing up – like hidden veins of treasure in the jungle. “The Jungle” tells of a world where beauty, danger and abundance exist at the same time: blood reds and toxic greens stand for the eternal cycle of predator and prey, while the warm gold reminds us that in the thicket of life – and of markets – unexpected value keeps appearing.

Technical description:
The work is built up in many layers of squeegee technique. Multiple pulled colour layers create a dense network of vertical and horizontal structures that recall trunks, lianas and light shafts in the jungle. Opaque and translucent areas alternate, generating depth and a vivid, almost vibrating rhythm.
The canvas is stretched on a stable gallery stretcher frame with a depth of approx. 3.5 cm; the edges are fully painted. This gives the piece a strong, object-like presence on the wall.

Colour psychology & spatial impact:
The dominant red and dark red sections refer to blood, passion and primal life – they embody the raw, immediate energy of the jungle. The poisonous greens and luminous yellows evoke the warning colours of plants and animals: attractive, yet clearly signalling danger.
