Golden Violet
Artist: Maryna Stoll
80 × 120 cm – acrylic on canvas – original artwork

“Golden Violet” is an energetic web of colour that feels as if an entire day full of light and movement has been frozen into a single moment. Radiant yellow, glowing orange, powerful magenta and intense blue and violet passages sweep across the canvas like waves of colour. The tones flow into one another without ever becoming muddy – everything remains clear, strong and highly saturated. You sense immediately: this is the work of a calm, precise hand that knows exactly how far the colour can be pushed before it tips.

Technical description:
The work is built up in many layers of squeegee technique. Maryna pulls her squeegees predominantly diagonally across the canvas and lets the movements cross, creating a dense, dynamic grid. Broad bands of yellow, orange and magenta meet deeper zones of blue, violet and black; in between lie finer lines, scratch marks and partially impasto densities that rise from the surface like small relief islands.

The gentle colour blending is consciously controlled: at the edges the colours break into one another and create glowing transitions, yet each zone remains legible – no grey, no smearing. Especially in the intensely orange-yellow areas, the high energy density of the painting becomes visible: like a chromatic burning that discharges into the room along diagonal paths.

The painting is stretched on a high-quality gallery stretcher frame with a depth of approx. 1.5 cm; the edges are painted through and carry the movement beyond the border, so that the work stands in the space as a compact yet very lively colour object.

Colour psychology & spatial impact:
The combination of luminous yellow and orange with powerful blue and violet areas generates a strong, activating energy. Here, yellow stands for light, clarity and optimism, orange for creative drive and zest for life. The rich blues – one of the most collected colours in contemporary art worldwide – add depth, trust and focus, while violet and magenta give the whole piece an artistic, subtly meditative note.

In an interior, “Golden Violet” functions like a colour engine: it energises, opens and enlivens without becoming aggressive. The diagonal structure brings tension and direction; the warm–cool contrasts create a vibrating balance between still point and sense of departure. Ideal for people and places that consciously work with creative energy and positive presence.

Recommended placement:
In a business context, “Golden Violet” is excellently suited for contemporary reception areas, waiting zones in practices and clinics, conference and meeting rooms, creative offices, agencies, as well as lobbies and lounges. The work sets a clear, high-value statement and immediately generates visible energy without overwhelming the space.

In private settings, the painting works particularly well in generous living rooms, hallways with sightlines, home offices or studios. Above sofas, sideboards or opposite seating areas, the diagonal movement unfolds especially strongly and turns a wall into a radiant focal point of the room.

Sealed with Swiss museum-quality varnish — hand-sprayed in two layers.

Price structure and collector value:
An 80 × 120 cm original of high quality – with multi-layered squeegee work, controlled colour blending and strong luminosity.

“Golden Violet” is among the early, particularly strong works by Maryna. The combination of technical precision, clean, clear colour handling and high chromatic energy makes this painting an attractive piece for collectors who deliberately wish to secure an energetic, radiant key work from this phase.
